The office environment has its advantages but compensation as well. We do not have to go through the stress of long traveling hours, working among a lot of other people and having various distractions. The morning activities associated with the commute – taking a shower, getting dressed, having breakfast and walking out the door – are psychologically and physically preparing for the work. Such freedom can however easily result in unfocused long days of work without distinguishing between work hours and personal time.

To keep everything in check, design a work-from-home plan in such a way that you follow it as if you are actually working from the office.
